From the Founder: I am estate attorney Kyle M. Johnston. My law firm specializes in estate planning, trust administration, probate, and estate litigation. In drafting wills and trusts, we take the time to understand your desires and family dynamics so that we can create a custom plan addressing your complex needs in the simplest manner possible. Once someone has passed away, we represent trustees, executors, probate administrators, and beneficiaries in all phases of trust and probate administration.

We associate with select attorneys specializing in family, business, and real estate law to provide a full suite of legal services to our clients. About Kyle: Kyle M. Johnston received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science International Relations from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the John F. Kennedy University School of Law where he interned in the Elder Law Clinic and served for two years as Editor-in-Chief of the JFKU Law Review. He is the author of A Process and Resource for Attorneys Performing Informal Capacity Assessments in California, published in the JFKU Law Review, Volume 12, Number 1. In 2013, Kyle returned to the JFKU School of Law as an adjunct professor to teach California Wills and Trusts. Kyle is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law.

When not appearing in court, Kyle splits his office time between the Rockridge and Walnut Creek locations. He lives in Walnut Creek with his wife, two children, and a yellow stealth dog of doom. He enjoys reading, swimming, cycling, and snowboarding. You may also find him exploring the trails surrounding Mt. Diablo and throughout the East Bay Parks District.
